Allana represented Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana on the sidelines for some time before she made the transition back to league. Allana was a star at the helm of New South Wales during her debut Women's Rugby League game against Queensland, which she played in 2015. Allana also has radio in her profile, with regular appearances with the 2GB's highest-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of playing for Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson has been forced to bring an early ending to her rugby league professional career following the tear of her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson ruptured her ACL four times, at ages 15, 17 and twenty. After the fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing life was done. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to retire earlier. Ferguson is the JILLAROOS' player, announced the situation in an interview with The Courier Mail this week after suffering an injury while training back in November.
